Position Summary

While working as a car wrap specialist, you will mainly be tasked with removing and installing vehicle graphics.  Other duties may be assisting the large format department and Production Floor Manager throughout the production and installation process. You will be responsible for prepping and quality checking substrates pre and post-production, visiting customer locations and installing various types of signage. The person in this position assists with performing the operational functions of the department, ensuring a solid production and installation process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Remove and install vehicle graphics
  • Quality check and package completed jobs
  • Load vehicles and transport signage for installation
  • Contact customers regarding arrival times
  • Accurately install a variety of signage and large format materials using power and hand tools, adhesives, stud finders and leveling equipment
  • Maintain effective relationships with customers
  • Interpret specifications, artwork, job orders, and company policies and procedures
  • Contribute positively to team dynamic
  • Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time
  • Coordinate with the production manager to meet deadlines and identify new projects
  • Enter information into the computer in order to keep track of jobs and assignments

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six to twelve months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence

Ability to speak effectively with customers

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

Computer Skills

Performing this job successfully requires that an individual have a basic understanding of Windows and internet usage

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Physical demands
    • While performing the duties of this job, one is regularly required to walk to the production area as well as unfamiliar customer spaces. The associate will regularly use a ladder, squat or kneel, and lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
  • Work environment
    • While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly exposed to a variety of noise levels. The associate will experience a typical office environment consisting of computers, phones, and other personnel, but will also be exposed to loud presses and machines operating when working in the production area, as well as power tools when utilizing them for installations.
