We are seeking a Human Resources Associate to join our team! You will be responsible for providing administrative and functional support to the HR department with a primary focus in payroll and reporting, daily attendance management for a manufacturing staff and employee relations. Experience in Human Resources or a related field is required. The role is full-time and benefits eligible. The opportunity for part-time work is available for the right candidate.


Responsibilities:

  • Handling employee inquiries and transactional employee requests
  • Payroll data entry and processing
  • Responsible for reconciliation of invoices for Human Resources in regards to benefits
  • Perform routine benefit and commercial insurance maintenance record and request changes, documents, etc.
  • Hold employee coaching and counseling sessions as requested by the management team
  • Assisting with departmental reporting as needed
  • Attend meetings and keep minutes when needed
  • Handle and prioritize all outgoing or incoming correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.)
  • Handle confidential documents ensuring they remain secure

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in Human Resources or 1-2 years experience in a related field is required
  • General knowledge of labor and employment laws
  • Comfort with HRIS database systems
