Position Summary

The core responsibility of the Digital Project Manager is to keep projects on track, to be a channel of communication between the development team, the sales team, and the client, to be an internal point of contact between other departments, and to ensure that jobs are entered and tracked appropriately across our systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Client Project Management:
    • Understanding the full scope of work for a client project, including what is needed in other departments such as design work and content writing
    • Communicating with both clients and internal team members to ensure that projects are moving according to schedule
    • Coordinating with the development team and other departments to ensure the team has the information they need, or requesting that information on behalf of the team from the client
    • Scheduling both internal and client-facing meetings and reviews
    • Providing project updates and status check-ins to both internal and client team, and keeping project management software up to date on a regular basis
    • Ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
    • Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
  • Client Website Development: Assisting on client projects in development including content integration, media replacement, limited styling adjustments, etc.
  • Proposal Creation: Meeting with Sales and Clients to discover and discuss opportunities for web projects. Developing proposals for a wide variety of web projects, relying on other department heads to help estimate additional hour allotments if necessary.
  • SOP Documentation: Developing and documenting processes and procedures related to digital services as they are established or change.
  • Ticket Support: Taking on website support tickets submitted to the ticketing system to help offload some of the work from the development team. Providing tickets that are outside of the maintenance scope to the Relationship Manager and Sales team to follow up with the client.

Nonessential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work on job assignments in other departments as instructed


Education and/or Experience

A minimum of a High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required, and 1-3 years project management experience required.

Other Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience and knowledge of Website Development lifecycle and Wordpress
  • Experience using Basecamp, Slack, and Spiceworks or other similar software preferred 
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills

The successful candidate will be trained and based in our Owings Mills Headquarters, Strategic Factory. The position is exempt, and the hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm.
