While working as an Installation Coordinator, you will be tasked with fulfilling duties and performing tasks related to daily workflow of the installation team, as well as the coordination and evaluation of outside vendors. The person in this position assists with formal site surveys, installation planning and quality assurance.

  • Train and coach those who perform preliminary site surveys on proper procedure
  • Coordinate and schedule preliminary site surveys. Follow procedure, fill out appropriate paperwork and communicate results to Product Engineer
  • Perform final site surveys, or dispatch installers to complete as time allows
  • Seek opportunities for improvement within the site survey process, review with signage planning manager and implement those improvements which make sense
  • Review all work orders pertaining to installation for accuracy and completeness, and coach those Product Engineers who require change orders as needed
  • Coordinate the installation schedule by communicating directly with clients to align with site availability. Once confirmed add job to installation calendar and communicate to Relationship Manager of date and time
  • Coordinate scheduling with outsourced install teams as needed, and assure the quality of their work through site visits, customer surveys and completion photographs
  • Request and follow up on tickets with Miss Utility
  • Directly manage a small team of installers, ensuring their success each day by staging installations the night before, and appropriately allocating time, resources and tools
  • Own the inventory of available tools and vehicles for the installation team, ensuring that all company property is returned each day, replaced as wear dictates and acquired only as truly necessary
  • Follow up with customers after an installation is complete to ensure the project meets their expectations
  • Education and/or Experience

A high school diploma is required and some prior experience or training in the use of hand tools, power tools and light carpentry equipment is necessary.

  • Computer Skills

Performing this job successfully requires that an individual have a solid understanding of computers, data entry, internet searches, the Microsoft Office suite and email applications.  

  • Other Qualifications
    • Ability to write effective correspondence to customers and coworkers
    • Ability to pass a background check, including a driving record review
    • Vision abilities required by this job include being able to see clearly at 20 inches or less, distinguish colors, and adjust focus.
    • Mathematical abilities required by this job include reading a ruler, calculating simple costs, and other basic mathematica
