Position Summary

The Signage Sales Manager's main tasks throughout the day are to facilitate the strategic business development, marketing, product training and project communication efforts of a) the larger Strategic Factory organization as it relates to the signage product, and b) the signage sales and sales support team which you will lead and manage directly.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Developing, leading and managing your team
  • Creating and executing business development strategy related to signage product vertical
  • Presenting your team's progress on your Business Development plan
  • Providing guidance and insight on the accomplishment of team and individual goals and performance measured by Key Performance Indicators
  • Investigating whether signage contacts/clients have potential or existing opportunities for projects that take advantage of Strategic Factory's non-signage product and service offerings, and sharing those opportunities with other vertical sales teams
  • Aiding in providing guidance and direction to internal marketing team as it relates to signage products
  • Managing and facilitating communication with the client and internal stakeholders on high-value, high-complexity or strategically important projects and customers
  • Assisting with your team in the coordination of preliminary site surveys including arranging timing, recording accurate measurements, taking thorough photographs and documenting necessary details to accurately quote and produce a job
  • Coordinating with internal and external resources on the creation of preliminary artwork and mockups used to estimate projects and submit to vendors for outside purchase and service estimates
  • Assisting in the creation of and response to requests for bid and large-scale sign project proposals
  • Entering information into Strategic Factory software systems for the purposes of maintaining client and prospect records and building client quotes and orders accurately


  • Experience dealing with and/or managing cross-functional teams
  • Signage Industry sales and project management experience
  • Ability to lead and develop a team
  • Ability to think strategically about the product/service offering and how to develop new opportunities to grow it
  • Understanding the capabilities of the production equipment and the possible solutions that can be offered to clients
